What is a Condo?
A condo, or condominium, is a form of ownership where an apartment is individually owned while use of and access to common facilities such as hallways, heating system, elevators, exterior areas is controlled by the association of owners that jointly represent ownership of the whole piece.
What is a Planned Unit Development?
Planned Unit Development (PUD) is a means of land regulation which promotes large scale, unified land development. It is a tool used by both developers and municipalities to create a development that has increased land efficiency, multiple land uses, and other agreed upon attributes. PUDs often have other names like Planned Infill Development (PID).
When do I need a Condo or PUD?
If you are a land developer, a Condo or PUD may be an option in your development plans.
