Town of Somers, WI - Zoning permits
Zoning permits may be required for any construction, addition or alteration of any structure, including but not limited to sheds, carports, decks, patios, porches, dormers, roof alterations, new or replacement retaining walls, signs, entrance pillars and gates, stairs and landings, and vegetation removal or grading. Erosion Control for Kenosha County
Complete this application for construction projects disturbing less than 1 acre of land. Please note: Although you may not need an erosion control permit from the County, that doesn't mean you don't need one from your Town. All excavation work requires a permit. Verify with your local building inspector.

County Sanitary
If your property does not have a sewer system, you will need to install a private on-site wastewater treatment system (POWTS). This application should be completed by the installer, not the homeowner.
