Village of Mount Pleasant, WI - CSM (certified survey map)

What is a CSM (certified survey map)?

A CSM is a tool used to divide an existing parcel of land into four or less new parcels.  CSMs are not required to adhere to the requirements of a subdivision making this process shorter and potentially less expensive.  If you want to divide your parcel into more than four new parcels you need to review the land division section.

When do I need a CSM (certified survey map)?

If you desire to divide your parcel into four or less lots, a CSM may be right for you.  The new lots must conform to the zoning ordinance in order to be considered.

Contact your local zoning administrator for more information in applying for a CSM (certified survey map).
